The Pantasy 85039 Retro Cassette Player is a highly original and sincere building block set, faithfully recreating the look of an early WALKMAN. Utilizing only 569 pieces, the set features a high degree of completion and impressive structural design. The finished model looks remarkably realistic, using many custom spray-painted silver-blue pieces and printed parts on the body (only the cassette tape uses stickers). The ingenious use of reversing studs allows for a relatively thin structure, while internal mechanisms create fun, functional, pressable elements. Notably, the cassette bay cover opens using a spring-back mechanism, and the side 'HOT LINE' button is also pressable and stable, both utilizing rubber bands for rebound. The included cassette and headphones are accurately scaled, though the headphones are too small to wear. Overall, the excellent design, realistic scale, and structural play features make this set a very satisfying and highly recommended display piece.

Does your store have w/o BOX option?
Most Building Blocks we sell in-store come with boxes. (Products sold without the original box will be noted in the listing.)

Why do I see so many item marked as “coming soon”
For "coming soon" items: once you place an order, we will restock and ship them within 3 to 5 business days. Once items arrive at our warehouse, their status will update to "in stock." If an item remains "coming soon," it simply means no orders have been placed yet. In the rare event we cannot source your item, a full refund will be issued.

Why is your shipping for bigger items so slow?
Buying big Building Blocks often means facing high shipping costs, sometimes more than the product. So, we prefer sea freight for these items. The drawback is the 40-70 day delivery time with tracking stopping until the package arrives in your country, typically updating about 30 days before arrival. On the bright side, with the reduction in shipping costs, the product prices will also decrease.

Is it possible for me to upgrade to a faster logistics mode instead of sea freight even if it means paying extra?
Yes, it is possible. You can simply contact our staff or send an email to Sam@chowbrick.com for assistance on how to upgrade.

I'm interested in some bricks that your store doesn't have.
Our Building Block category at the Chowbrick Store is new. If a product you want isn't available, use the link to submit a request. If we haven't stocked it within 1-2 weeks, we may be having sourcing difficulties. However, we can usually find it.
